<p>&#8220;Theory of Evolution? What does that have to do with weight loss?&#8221;</p>
<p>As it turns out, they are FUNDAMENTALLY connected. Over millions of years, human beings have evolved to endure long periods of both famine and abundance. Our evolutionary history has made us creatures of opportunity, getting our food whenever and wherever we could find it, so the human metabolism also evolved to help us survive these cyclical periods.</p>
<p>&#8220;That sounds very interesting, but what does that have to do with my diet tanking after a few weeks?&#8221;</p>
<p>Well, limiting or changing caloric intake is the keystone for most diets. After a while, the average metabolism will interpret this as a famine or natural disaster, so the metabolism automatically slows down in order to keep the body alive longer. This is why most diets will stop working after a few weeks, and why we sometimes feel sluggish on diets. It&#8217;s just nature&#8217;s way of trying to keep us alive.</p>
<p>&#8220;So how do we undo evolution?&#8221;</p>
<p>Glad you asked. We do something called &#8220;calorie shifting&#8221;. Studies show that it consistently promotes sustained weight loss.</p>
<p>&#8220;What is calorie shifting?&#8221;</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a simple concept. You spend a week to 10 days lowering your caloric intake below your baseline level. Studies have shown that your metabolism will begin to interpret this as a famine and start to slow down after 11 days.</p>
<p>To stop the metabolism from slowing down, you then spend the next week to 10 days raising your caloric intake ABOVE your baseline. This makes the metabolism react as if the famine were over, so it speeds up again.</p>
<p>After it speeds up, you then return your caloric level back BELOW your baseline. You see? That way, you constantly &#8220;trick&#8221; your metabolism into never slowing down, and you prevent the sluggishness.</p>
<p>Of course, there&#8217;s more to it than that since you have to follow other guidelines. You have to drink up to 10 glasses of water a day, for example, and you need the right kind of calories stretched over 4 meals a day. That will be the subject of future articles.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, if you do regular squats week in and week out, your results will come to a screeching halt.</p>
<p>Thus, without further ado, here are different ways to squat for ultimate lower body development:</p>
<p>1. Legs pointing out version: By pointing your legs (and toes) outward, you place more emphasis on the inner part of your legs. The main consideration here is that you will most likely not be able to go as far down as you would with a regular squat. And this is ok, just go as low as possible while not straining your joints.</p>
<p>2. Feet together: By bringing your feet together, you will work the outer portion of your legs. And keep in mind that the more the outer portion of your legs stick out, the smaller your waist will look. Again, going all the way down will be hard. Use light weights and proceed with perfect form.</p>
<p>3. Front squats: This one is hard, very hard in fact. So only do this once you have mastered the regular version of the squat. The nice thing about front squats is that they really challenge your quadriceps muscles versus your gluteus and hamstring muscles with the traditional squat. As an added bonus, front squats will also work your core.</p>
<p>4. Hack squats with a barbell: By hack squats I mean squats with a barbell hanging towards the back of your body. This variation can really target your forearm muscles, lower body muscles and trapezius muscles. I recommend lots of practice with this one to get the form down to the dot.</p>
<p>Anybody that is serious about getting the best results from their workouts should incorporate the squat as a regular movement.</p>

<p>&#8220;Phenocal gave me a chance to enjoy my life in a manner that I did in my childhood. It was in June 2009, I had been to South Africa, where a workshop on wild life photography was held.   I wanted to capture wild African animals through my lenses for six months in African jungle as I intended to be a wildlife photographer.   </p>
<p>That started the real fight with my obesity. I could not manage my weight in unfriendly terrain of African jungles. Many times it so happened that I missed targets, toppled over so many times just because I was obese not flexible enough.    </p>
<p>However, then, by the mercy of God, I came to know about Phenocal .The local person from the near by a village where we had our Camp, told me about this product.  He was using it for months. I had no option but to give it a try n followed him, as I weighed almost 210 pounds.</p>
